Project Director Michael Reiss
I am Professor of Science Education at the Institute of Education University of London. I went to university to read physics then changed to biology after the first week. I taught in schools for five years before moving into teacher education and research.

Project Co-Director Anne Scott
I am based at the University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG) where I am revising the SNAB materials for 2008 and am a PGCE tutor. After completing my PhD on salt tolerance of cliff plants, I worked for the Marine Conservation Society. I taught biology for ten years, and was Head of Biology at Cheltenham Bournside school and Sixth Form Centre until joining the project in September 2000.

Project Co-Director Angela Hall
I am the Director of the Nuffield Curriculum Centre and revising the ICT component of the SNAB materials for 2008. I was Head of Faculty at Reigate College until joining the project at Nuffield in January 2001. In January 2004 I moved to the Institute of Education University of London as Director of Science Learning Centre London, but am now back at Nuffield.

I teach SNAB and Science for Public Understanding at Esher College and also work for the Nuffield Curriculum Centre, supporting schools and colleges doing SNAB. Contact me if you are thinking of starting SNAB in 2008 or would like some advice on running the current course.
