Salters Awards 2007

Salters crestCongratulations to SNAB students who won Salters Company awards for their success in the 2007 exams.

Two technicians at SNAB schools won awards too - see below.

Here are the students receiving certificates from the Master of the Salters Company at a grand event at Salters Hall on 23 November.

Bootham School had two award-winners this year! William Cooke (pictured) and Anna-Maria Norman. William is now studying medicine at Oxford. Anna-Maria is spending the year teaching in South America.

Kirstin Barker is studying maths at Durham.

Congratulations also to Kirstin's twin sister Lauren Barker, who was a runner-up for a Salters award in joint fourth place.

Congratulations also to Mrs Nevcan Kazim of Langley Park School for Girls and Mrs Valery Chapman of Caistor Grammar School, who both received a Salters National Science Technician award.
