Moving from a free Edexcel code to a PIN code from Pearson Longman
All Edexcel-registered centres were sent free interim 30-day online registration codes in the post, so you could look round. If you are teaching in a school or college you can request one of these by telephoning 0800 579 579.

When you re-register with a Longman PIN you will go through the same process as before. When you get to the question about whether you have an existing Pearson account, select Yes. Enter the username and password you gave when you first registered. This will cause the website to recognise that you are the same person as before, and you will see the same version of the 'My Course' website as you saw before. (But see note below if you first registered before 1 Sept 08.)

Updated version of newsnab
If you accessed the site before 1 Sept you will have been looking at an old version of 'My course'.

Make sure that you are now using the latest version of the new snabonline website which contains the resources for all the four topics. If your Today View page does not have Course News and Bionews in the centre you are looking at the previous version.

To update: go to the My Courses screen. You see this when you first log in, or accessed it by clicking the My Courses link at the top of the screen. Use the Browse button in the Create Course box. Select the red icon SNAB. This will load the latest version of SNAB. It will be ready for use in about five minutes. This is the version which you should reconfigure and to which you should add student data.

You can see the old one and the new one as long as you are using the same username and password. You would be able to look from one to the other and recreate any changes you'd made on the old one.
