Email discussion group
There is a very useful free email discussion group for school science technicians run by Robin & Maz from Hull. It is hosted by the University of Central Lancashire.
Send in your question and a fellow technician will quickly answer it - There are over 800 of you on the list. Highly recommended!

How the email discussion group works
If you have a technical problem or tip, you email your message to the address of the group. This ‘address’ then sends your message to all the technicians on its subscription list. When the other technicians go into their Inbox to read their emails, they will see your message. If they choose to reply, they either email their answer to you individually or back to the whole discussion group to be circulated.
You can set the software to send you messages as they come in, or a digest at the end of the week.
