New SNABonline

Publication of new resources from Edexcel Pearson for the new specification and new course.

Snabonline for the September 2008 course available from 14 July 2008. It is called newsnab.
This will be a subscription website for schools and colleges containing interactive resources, student sheets for practicals supported by relevant teacher and technician notes, and more for students, teachers and technicians.

All Edexcel-registered centres have been sent online registration codes in the post, so you can look round. If you haven't got one, you can request one by telephoning 0800 579 579.

How to register and tour newsnab

Here is a guided tour round the www.newsnab.com website. We are temporarily hosting this on behalf of Edexcel.

So far it is just Topics 1 and 2.

To open the interactive tutorials on newsnab, use the drop down menu and click on Preview. To open pdfs or Word documents, click on the drop down menu arrow to the right of the title and use the Open option from the menu. (Clicking on the title of a Word or pdf document just opens an edit screen. Avoid the 'easy print' option at the moment, because it is currently accessing the 2005 versions of sheets.)
